Annoyances pt3

So yeh i'm currently in a grumpy mood, no-one interesting is around to talk to and nothing much to do but rant lol

Annoying teenagers - now this is such a vast and grand topic with hundreds of possible reasons so I shall concentrate on the one that pissed me off today lol. So there's this kid interested in COD modding, cant fault his enthusiasm, but my god is he annoying and whats worse is he just doesn't get that he is and contiues being annoying, the sad thing is it will probably take years for him to realise but by then i'll be so annoyed I'll find bambi and punch him

Funwall - the facebook ap that is so annoying it needs to be banned, I don't have the Ap added to my profile but that doesnt stop it from putting tons of crap on my feed or email and whats worse is when you view a profile of someone who has it it takes ages to load all the spammed crap that everyone using it seems to send out, grr ban it ban it ban it ban it

Sissy Footballers - Its bloody ridiculous when they get a slight knock or get lost in possesion they go down to the ground in a heap and stay there hoping the ref will give something. But so many players do it these days, especially the foreigners and they just never realise how twattish they look. The FA UEFA or FIFA need to take a stand against this and start banning or fining the offenders that stop play only to magically be running the moment you get possesion back

Farmers on Travian - I spent the whole day trying to build a Grain Mill but the fucking farmer whos been attacking me 5 times a day all week kept hitting me just as I was nearly done and putting it back several hours. I just want to crush and smite him but I'm still weeks away from being strong enough :(

Everything else - it just annoys me heh.

Annoyances pt2

So here is part two, I've had time to think rant and moan some more hehe

People under 30 doing Autobiographies - Speaks for itself really doesn't it, I mean unless they had a rather glamourous and eventful childhood they've hardly done much to literally write home about. Two main culprits I can think of are Lewis Hamilton and Wayne Rooney, I mean they're still young yet at the first sign of sucess they write about their lives, god only knows they've still got alot more ahead of them and I'd rather read about them when they're retired and recanting their stories of glory.

Illiterate Teens - My god words can barely describe it, they manage to spell even simple words wrong, and in some cases its not just cause they're dumb; some actually do it on purpose! I mean with stupity on such a scale the human species isn't futhering evolution, if anything its reversing it. I think we should cull them all, it makes logical sense :P

Katie Price aka Jordan - eurgh ... that somes her up nicely. I know there are a hell of alot of people worse than her and she's had to deal with her child, but given how big a public symbol she is and how many girls idolise her its fucking ridiculous, she's not that great and still a poor example. What somes it up is recently she said "I still wanted to go out and get wasted" yeh great example of motherhood.

The England football team - what a bunch of muppets lol, but we're out of euro 2008 and well deserve to be, Steve McClarren is now gone and deservidly after making some crazy decsions but all the experienced players you expect better from them

Jamster and other assorted mobile phone tat selling companies - I dont get why there cant exist a nice simple company for selling of such things, with all the ringtones you want at a fair price, but instead you get these companies that pretty much cheat and rip the public off not to mention some of the unbelieveable crap they try to sell off. One good thing though is that as mobiles get more advanced these companies will be utterly useless, their bankruptcy can't come quick enough

Annoyances pt1

Well I keep meaning to write down my thoughts, but always forget them by the time I get around to it, so I'll just do it when and where I want now lol and for today I shall list some annoyances:

Girls Aloud - They're just crap really ain't they? awful songs to cover up their lack of talent and well they're not even that great looking, kinda tarty and just eurgh. Whats worse is its now a popular look, all these girls copying them is not good for the nation lol

iPhone - We all know I hate macs and well it continues witht he iPhone, in particular the advert with youtube, sure you can get youtube on it, but they like to glam up the graphics somewhat dont they, the actual quality is alot to be desired, youtube on the PC is hardly top quality so on an iPhone, yeh tiny and distorted FTW!

Perfume/fragrance adverts - As its getting close to christmas they're going to be on our screens non stop and I just can't stand the utter crap pretenious drivel they come up with each trying to outdo the next when they seem to forget no one really cares about such stuff. I want to launch my own fragrance with the tagline 'some people say it smells nice' and nothing but that

TV audiences - They seem to be dumbing up lol, just playing along like a cheesey panto for almost every program especially in these reality tv/talent program thingies, they just want to boo and cheer everything regardless of what people are actually saying, they should really be quiet unless spoken to lol

Anti-Windfarm Protestors - They just constantly annoy me and I can rant for ages on the topic, lets leave it at the simple fact they're idiots

The CRIA - They closed down demonoid :( they probably had just cause but yeh its annoying lol

PS3 region coding - I was told they were region free so I got a ps2 game from america hoping it would work fine... it doesn't :( and I cant play it on an emulator either which also sucks

Game - So I desperately wanted Call of Duty 4 I descided to trade in Heavenly Sword, but the bastards at Game only gave me £18 for it, considering they'll then sell it back @ £30 odd its just not fair, had I had the time I could of probably sold it for something around that myself, meh

Facebook Ap - I believe the coding to spam messages has now become public knowledge so its now constantly spamming annoying crap all over my news feed, annoying!

Not getting the peices you want in tetris - pretty self explanitory lol, I'm hooked on the game but rather annoyed at how games can go tits up with the wrong piece at the wrong time

Spam email - It has eased up at one point with only a few a week but now its over 10 a day about penis enlargement.. are they trying to tell me something :o

All those mobile phone cheesey ass lame companies - want a ringtone, wallpaper or other pathetic gimic or want to meet hot singles just send a text to... my god they're so annoying but yet people must use them to pay for the advertising, its so god damn pathetic and such a waste, all that money just flittering away

Fake Boobs - On one of those lame ass advert they had this bikini clad girl but my god she had the worst fake tits anyway, they were round in places that aren't naturally round, like they were cut off and two perfect hemispheres were just stuck on. If you can notice you've had a boob job then they're not nice boobs at all

Kanye West

Okay, so someone posted a link to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJu770gscW8 on a forum I use and its got me onto a topic thats been bugging me for weeks now.

Kanye West is fucking awful, now its true that I find the majority of hiphop/rap awful, its rather bland and simple production values either taking a basic loop or sample and setting it to a rather generic drum beat and Talking over the top of it, its not singing. Whats worse are they types that just randomly rhyme words to this beat, and thinking they are supreme. You can rhyme hooray, now sing a melody?
But anyway going back to Kanye, he's a primetime example of such uselessness. You take one popular song, you edit it slightly down to your prefferred bpm, then talk over the top. Example 1) His diamonds are forever song, you sample the Shirley Bassey SONG and repeat it to your preferred beat with the simple underlay and talk over the top. Oh yes he's clever. And now stronger, he takes the daftpunk song, long been a hit and been around for ages now, he talks over the top and reaches #1? most people purely like it for the catchy daft punk riff but yet he's the one given the credit. Fucking ridiculous I tell you.

But alas, in these days talentless people make the money and the real innovators and musicians struggle to get heard :(

Well been ages I've written in this despite plenty on my mind the past few weeks, i've just been too Lazy to write it down.

Well i'm feeling really rather down at the moment, mainly cause I just completed Suikoden 4, it has bit of an odd ending and I think storywise was the weakest suikoden so far (even though i've only played 3 of them) but finishing any long winded role playing game like that normally leaves me a bit perplexed at the end. Anywho my review of the game; its not as strong as suikoden 2, as mentioned the story isn't quite as good and the world is comparatively alot smaller, but I do like the concept of it, it was definately something different, the boat battles were interesting but far to simple when you got to them. All you have to do it level up, board them and poof, ship down.
Now what really annoys me is I ordered it the same day as suikoden 5, but hmv screwed that order up and its yet to surface 3 weeks on, I shall have to wait for my next fix, which might be a good thing considering I have things I've wanted to do lol.

Whilst on a computer game theme i'll use this moment to say how utterly beautiful Heavenly Sword is, the nice people at play.com delievered it a day before its release so i've been lucky enough to play it early on. Its an utterly gorgeous game, it looks and plays pretty much like a film, with a nice plot and has to be said an awesome bad guy, voiced by the bloke who played Golem in LOTR, its got a true cinegraphic feel to the game. The only downside is how short and easy it is, I was upto chapter 4 by the first day and stopped playing just to extend the life of it, whilst its quite easy, mastering it will be a different matter, so that'll extend gamelife for a while. I'm half tempted to trade it in once i've finished it, but the snag with that is there's so little else out there, I might enquire as to how much i'd get for it and see.
In other PS3 news warhawk is turning into quite a cool game, now the stats are registering I can try to improve my rank, provided it actually lets me connect to their servers more often. Bit of a shame though how much little content there is, they state there will be add-ons but chance are they won't be free or even if they are there's no sight of them for a while.

But hey at least after writing this i'm not as gloomy, just bored heh. Oh well might be seeing a new post sooner than expected

PS3 Greatness

Well seeing as I'm wide awake again with no one around to chin wag with and nothing much to do I thought I'd post in my blog again.

Now yesterday, in a similar wideawake boredom bout I decided to browse the PS3 store and check out some of the videos. After weeks of the PS3 store being so unreliable it was amazing all the downloads finished so quickly. There were three videos that caught my attention, the future of the Playstation network, seems they're going to add alot of nice stuff and hopefully some of it will be free =D There was also the eyetoy, seems kinda gimicy but if it doubles up as a decent webcam I might purchase one and play the quaint games hehe, some of the videos looked crazy the way you have to interact lol. Also in reading an artical that goes with the video I read that the PS3 will be able to watch and record digital TV once the adapter is launched. This is great news as I've been wanting a digital recorder for a while now so hopefully it won't be too pricey.

But the two games that caught my eye were: Unreal Tournament 3, it was only a short video but oh my god! it looked f-ing amazing. Some of the vehicles and planes in it, looks like total carnage all in beautiful graphics. Comparing it to halo 3 it actually looks far superior. What also comes as good news as you'll be able to use a USB mouse with it too. Quite frankly that game wins!
The next eagily anticipated game is Metal Gear Solid 4, the video looked again awesome and the sheer attention to detail in the game is amazing. Not to mention all the gadgets tricks and treats that Snake now posesses, it just looks avisually amazing and looks like it'll play like nothing before. Of course I still need to complete MGS2 and MGS3 but hey it wont be out for a while hehe.

So lately things for the ps3 ain't been looking too shit, the only downside is the price and waiting time really, but its getting there

TV Adverts

I think I'll dedicate this post to my comments on various adverts, cause quite frankly I watch too many and point out all the mistakes.

First off the Fosters cool advert with the dramatic diving around to keep his Beer in the shade. You wonder this... "Why doesnt he just use his own body as the shade?"
Makes him look rather silly doesnt it :P

The Philidelphia dippers, why oh why would Heaven need a police force? its freakin heaven!!

I just saw on the news about an Art project up in Liverpool and the videos were utterly amazing

Greatest Thief ever?

Ok I just read the article on the front page of the Telegraph today about George W Bush's trip to Albania recently.
As you can see in the pictures he goes to meet the crowd wearing his watch, but a few minutes later after a suspicious hand has grabbed him on the watch wrist the watch is gone :o
Now the Albanian and American officials have stated the watch was either 'dropped' or 'put away' but to many it does look the efforts of one of the most daring thefts ever!

Just imagine if it later turns up in an Albanian market stall and someone buys the 'George W Bush' engraved watch lol
